Wind Vector shows forecast model output and radar data from public sources. It can be off in timing, place and strength. Storm tracks are radar estimates, not warnings. For official warnings and safety advice, follow the National Weather Service and your local alerts.
Do not use Wind Vector for aviation, navigation or any decision where safety depends on the data.
The app is free. It is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, and Wind Vector is not liable for any damages from using it.

These terms may be updated. Continued use means you accept the changes.
Wind Vector for iPhone has no account and no analytics or tracking code. Nothing the app does is sent to us.
The app uses your location to show the weather where you are. We never receive it.
To load data, the app sends the area around the place you are looking at to these services:
Each of these servers sees your IP address with every request, as with any internet connection. Their own privacy policies apply.
Your settings, recent places and up to 100 MB of cached data stay on the phone. Clear Cache in Settings empties the cache, and deleting the app removes everything.
Cloudflare hosts windvector.app and may keep standard server logs (IP address, browser, time). If you accept the cookie banner, Google Analytics, loaded through Cloudflare Zaraz, collects anonymized usage data. If you decline, it does not load.
